Required jobs in QAFCO company and their details:

1. Engineer, Instrument Projects (Engineering)

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline.

A minimum of 7 years proven successful experience in relevant instrumentation and systems engineering within the Oil & Gas, Fertilizer or Petrochemical Industry (references to be provided with Contact information).

Should have a very good English communication & Technical Report Writing Skills.

Good knowledge of the types of instrumentation drawings and documents and document process control and storage.

Good knowledge of engineering management principles and practices, safer design and safe and reliable operation of facilities and assets; reduce risk to personnel, assets and the environment.

2. Engineer, Electrical (Engineering)

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant discipline.

Minimum of 7 years direct and relevant experience working within the Fertilizer, Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industry.

Understand the codes and standards for electrical engineering in oil and gas facilitates.

Know earthing, cathodic and lightning protection systems; know contract provisions, stipulations and electrical code requirements; inspect and commission electrical installations.

3. Construction Engineer, Mechanical

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant discipline.

7 years direct and relevant experience.

Solid experience of construction project management, cost, time, quality, safety management principles and contract administration structure.

Experience in coordinating pipeline construction and installation; know how to follow pipeline construction procedures.

Having knowledge and application of specifications, requirements and theory of operation of static equipment.

Experience in preparing, gathering and evaluating technical bid requests, select contractor based on technical evaluation and negotiate contracts. Maintain proper business relationship with contractors.

Experience in managing vendors, contractors and subcontractors to ensure that they meet the performance standards for construction activities.

4. Process Projects Engineer

Roles in this level have responsibility for planning, prioritizing, executing, and monitoring along entire projects life cycle phases (Pre-Project, Final project, Close-out), in an efficient and systematic manner and according to the QAFCO Projects Methodology, and established QAFCO procedures and specifications and to the Company’s goals and objectives.As a part of project works, the role holder has the responsibility in analyzing the problems, carrying out root cause analysis & engineering calculations to arrive at the optimum techno-economic solution, prepare tender, carry out technical evaluation, generate the deliverables of the required quality and support for the development and execution of Project.The role holder has a prime role in coordinating with multiple trades and stakeholders to ensure smooth-running of projects. Compile and provide input to the periodic reports within their area of work, assist the superiors in cost monitoring and control.

5. Contracts Analyst

Candidate Desired Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Commerce, or relevant discipline.

A minimum of 7 years direct, relevant and proven successful experience in similar role within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or large manufacturing industry.

Know the main contracts and procurement (C&P) application software, databases, web-hosted services and e-commerce services (Information Technology (IT) and Information Management System (IMS) tools) available to manage and support contracts and procurement business activities.

6. Head of Public Relations & Events

Key Accountabilities:

Plan, lead and organize the activities of the PR & Events Section to ensure efficient and timely achievement of the planned activities of the section.

Optimize and efficiently utilize the available resources to achieve the planned targets.

Train, develop and motivate staff to realize their potential and make significant contributions.

Prepare PR Section’s Annual Action plan and budget. Continuously monitor progress and priorities and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper implementation and achievements of the planned activities and effective cost control.

7. NDT Technician

Candidate Desired Profile:

Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering and have special training in basic NDT techniques, holding official certificates in UT and RT, ASNT level II.
A minimum of 7 years direct and relevant experience from a large chemical plant, preferably Ammonia and Urea fertilizer plant.
Capable of reading P & ID’s and isometric drawings
